BACKGROUND:
I am from the North West of England and have lived here in Thailand for 6 years with my husband and our 7 year old son, we love living in Bangkok. I have spent almost 20 years living overseas, which has enriched my understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures and working with people from a myriad of backgrounds, this deeply influences my pedagogical approach. Once realising my passion for teaching I gained a first-class Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development and have been teaching in early years education in Bangkok since early 2019.
STRENGHTS:
My strengths lay in my ability to integrate cultural awareness and inclusivity into teaching practices along with the ability to create nurturing and playful environments that support the developmental needs of young children.
WHAT I LOVE ABOUT TEACHING:
I am passionate about fostering a safe and engaging learning space where young children feel secure and eager to explore. I particularly enjoy witnessing the early development of independence, confidence and moments of wonder! Hopefully encouraging a lifelong love of learning in our students.
