Ms. Eilidh

I am from a small village surrounded by beautiful countryside in the north east of Scotland. I attended the University of Aberdeen in 2013, where I completed my MA in Primary Education. I moved to Thailand 5 years ago which has fully become my home. I fell in love with the beauty, energy and people of the city, but I am also very excited to be working in a small community school again as this environment is what I grew up in myself. I love working with children, and have always aspired to develop myself into a teacher who can understand children who come from all aspects of life. While at university I also worked with adults and children with special needs, where I received training on how best to support people with additional needs, with a special focus on autism.

I have been teaching in Thailand for 10 years and last year I completed my Postgraduate Certificate in Education (International) through the University of Nottingham, UK. I love reading, books can be funny, magical and exciting. Books can take you on an adventure and help you to use your imagination! I love to spend my time travelling the world, especially anywhere with a beach. I am passionate about scuba diving and have completed the first step in technical and shipwreck diving, with the ambition to learn more about cave diving. In my classroom I believe it is important to talk about what we are passionate about and try to incorporate our home lives in the classroom. I love celebrating students achievements, big or small, and creating a safe, caring and fun environment where everyone feels welcome.
