Ms. Dina

I was born in India, in a small city called Chandigarh. My family migrated to the United States in 1980. I grew up in Chicago and moved to Bangkok when I got married to my husband in 1996.

I speak to my family in English, Hindi and Thai. My first job was as a Music and EAL teacher, and a school librarian in ISB in 1997. In 1998, I was an early years teacher in Early Learning Centre (ELC). After working in ELC for 13 years I moved to First Steps. This year I will be completing my 25th year in teaching. I have a child-centered teaching philosophy and I believe in providing children with many hands-on experiences in the areas of learning from the early years foundation stage (EYFS). I also believe that children learn in their own unique way and pace.

I intend to promote an inclusive classroom environment where children gain the confidence, have a sense of belonging and agency to achieve their own goals.
