Mr. Michaël

I’m Mr. Michaël, the primary French teacher at FSB, I come from Nice in France and moved to Bangkok in July 2021. I moved here with my wife and believe this is a wonderful opportunity for us to discover another country with another culture, especially for our children (Lola 10 years old and Alex 7 years old).

I grew up in a family for whom sport is very important. My father swam at a high level so every year, with my two brothers, we had to practise one individual sport and one team sport to develop our sociability and our rigour. Handball, basket-ball, tennis and swimming were the sports I loved practising. After university with a Master’s Degree in Sport Management, I worked as a swimming teacher and tennis instructor. I have always enjoyed passing on my knowledge and my work with children. That’s why later, I decided to study and become a French teacher (French Language Teaching Aptitude Diploma).

I believe that school is a place where children should be encouraged to learn and discover the world, but also to socialise with others. That’s why communication and well-being are so important, so that they feel listened to and encouraged. Working at FSB is a real pleasure as this school really takes care of children and their development, by offering an environment conducive to their welbing.
