Following my graduation from Cambridge University, I worked in a variety of schools in the UK, China and Thailand. In 2010 I was appointed the Founding Head of School at St. Andrews International School Dusit Campus in Bangkok.
After six years growing and developing St. Andrews and ten years in Thailand I relocated to Doha to take up the position of Founding Headteacher of the Royal Grammar School Guildford in Qatar.
As educators I believe it is our role to develop confident and independent learners who are able to achieve their full potential. I enjoy supporting all students to become happy, caring and thoughtful individuals who feel confident about their abilities, respect others and make the most of opportunities that arise.
Outside of school, I have a passion for travel and a love of learning about different cultures. When I’m not traveling I enjoy watching and participating in sports; notably football, badminton, tennis and running, as well as chasing after my two young daughters!
My wife and I very much enjoy living in Bangkok and being part of the First Steps family. Our two daughters, India and MeiMei are currently in Year 1/2 and K1 respectively.
